Dear Friends,

This first week of camp was one of the best, and there was unity, love, prayer, salvations, learning - all of this was a result of the prayers.  Yes, we feel your prayers and know that God is doing a quick work, and blessing these young people and children as never before.  Let me just share some praises:

Salvations - 57 youth repented and prayed the sinner's prayer.  And we began to see a real change in their lives here at camp.  PTL - God answers prayer!  This is the basis of what the camp is all about - changing lives.

One boy from the village had written a song called "Forgiveness".  I have attached the words to this email because they are prophetic and true.  He sung this song on Wednesday during the music/worship and everyone was touched and began to weep.  There was repentance and salvations that came forth.  We know God wants to use this song, so we will have this as our "theme song" this summer.  The churches are also learning the song to sing everywhere.

Another mother and her son came up from Sofia because she was told that her son would receive help and love if he came to this camp.  He is 14 yrs old and was beaten severely while he was in an orphanage home and was hospitalized several times, but they sent him right back.  He was agressive and angry because of this treatment.  this lady adopted him not really knowing everything that had happened to him.  She has been his mother for 5 years, and he has caused many problems and no one can help her.  There is no school that will even teach him and he just keeps being rejected.  Anyway after being here for this week, he never gave us a problem and in fact showed such nice manners.  He did need discipline but it was done in love and respect, and he could not believe how we treated him.  So the mother cried, repented, and also the boy and there was a mending of that relationship, and also toward God.  We believe there is a bright future for this boy because of being here to see God's love in action.  Hallelujah!

When we began to teach the "Awareness" program to the children, they were very attentive, and we saw from their eyes and behavior that this was something they had already experienced.  They were so full of questions, and wanted to know what to do.  We assured them that Jesus loves them and cares so much for them.  We will follow up with weekly lessons in our ministry outreaches every week, and believe there will be change coming to these children too.

Next week, we will have Angie Williams from VOICE TODAY.ORG, who experienced in her own home a life of abuse and being molested from the age of 3.  She has a passion and ministry to help the children in preventive teachings and also healing for abused adults.  So she will be helping to teach our staff and workers, so thank God for connecting us together to fight against this evil of our day.  Please pray for us.
