Friends of Faith World Outreach

       Dr. Denzil & Rebecca Hood

In September of 1980, when I was 42 years old, I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I was a business man and entrepreneur owning a farm, supermarkets, land and a vacation house in the mountains. I had fought all my life for my economic stability, but after receiving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, my entire life's direction changed. I received a clear vision from the Lord in 1981 where I saw the city of Puebla, Mexico. For the next ten years, my wife Rebecca and I worked in Hidago and San Luis Potosi.

In 1991, the Lord told me "It's time to sell everything you own and go live in Mexico!" The Lord spoke to Rebecca at the same time, so we were obedient to the lord and moved to Mexico. We invested everything we had into a church building and we opened a business that provided for our family for the next five years. The first two years were difficult as we were adapting to a new culture and lifestyle, but we had joy in our hearts, love for the people and a great desire to accomplish the vision given to us by the Holy Spirit.

Today, our ministry has over 2,000 cells and we are reaching into Mexico City, with a population of 45,000,000 people through our television and radio ministry. We believe that 50,000 people per week repeat the prayer of salvation.

We Praise God for our recently acquired 10,000 square foot building which will house our offices, leadership classrooms, youth auditorium and our college classrooms. We have been at such peace since beginning our college program with the Christian World College of Theology and we are seeing the difference in our pastors, teachers, leaders and administrators as they are carrying out their callings with a Spirit of Excellence.

Our latest endeavor has God stretching us to reach into Panama, Cuba and Canada through church planting.

We thank God that He has allowed us to be a part of the multiplication process of seeing souls saved and lives transformed. We look at Friends of Faith as a spiritual bank where you can store up eternal spiritual blessings. Please continue to keep Rebecca and I in your prayers, as well as the people of Mexico.
